The drawings are in production, the students are rehearsing, the Dub liberators are tuning their Uke’s, and P J Harvey and John Parish should have received their invites by now. Well you never know!

You will need to be available for filming in Yeovil at various times between mid April and mid June (details tbc) with the finished work available as a 4-5 minute film by 17th June 2013.

Fee: £1,500 Including transport and materials

Alias Networking Hubs Event in collaboration with Reveal

You are invited to attend a networking event organised in collaboration with Reveal on Wednesday 7th March, 4 – 5:30pm at The Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre, Coal Orchard, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 1JL

Alias Hubs act as meeting places for artists, an informal space inviting artists and creatives to share knowledge, ideas and experiences. This hub will begin with a short ‘in-conversation’ between Neil Walker of Stroud Valleys Artspace, Simon Lee Dicker of  OSR Projects, West Coker and Rachel Dobbs of Come to Ours and dxdx studios, Plymouth. The panel will explore different ways to set-up and maintain independent spaces such as studios, galleries and project spaces.

Alias Tasters
Book in for a Taster advisory session with an Alias consultant before the event. Tasters will be offered between 2 and 3pm on the 7th March and will last for approximately 20 minutes. Advisory sessions can cover anything that an independent project might need – business planning, funding, organization structuring, marketing – or maybe you’ve an idea and you just want to try it out on some one….. All Alias advisory sessions are confidential. The Alias Hubs are presented in partnership with Turning Point South West.
